Sometimes I wonder

If you love me

As much as I love you.

I sit here through the night thinking

“Maybe, maybe will I have a chance?”

Then I compare myself to your past girlfriends

And think

“Who am I kidding? I don’t stand a chance.”

But yet, when I see you

I get excited, happy, nervous, angry, and confused.

It’s a feeling I don’t quite understand.

But I think it’s what they call

“love”.

So yes, it’s true.
